Castel Noarna - Rovereto in Trentino
Conosciuto anche come Castelnuovo Lagarino, nel cuore di quel piccolo "paradiso" della nobiltà che si estende attorno a Nogaredo, Castel Noarna è antichissimo: probabilmente il colle era un castelliere preistorico e quindi un "luogo munito" romano lungo la strada che passava nelle vicinanze. Dopo un burrascoso Medioevo, con le famiglie castellane della zona alleate contro il Barbarossa, alla fine del XIII secolo il castello passò ai Castelbarco, una delle più potenti dinastie nobiliari del Trentino. Nel 1456 quesi ultimi furono cacciati dai loro eterni rivali, i Lodròn, che venne investito del feudo nel 1532. Egli sposò in prime nozze Gentilia contessa d'Arco e in seconde nozze Beatrice di Castellalto.
In questo periodo il maniero assunse l'aspetto attuale. Nicolò fece realizzare i nuovi settori, gli affreschi di scuola michelangiolesca dello scalone e quelli del giardino d'inverno in cui campeggiano gli stemmi dei Lodròn, dei Castellalto e degli Arco.
